Protect the Soil
Reduce unnecessary disturbance, keep living roots in the ground, and protect the biology beneath our feet.
Work With Nature
A simple reminder that the strongest, most lasting solutions come from working with natural systems—not fighting against them.
The Meaning
The phrase was inspired by Richard Franklin’s advocacy for soil health and regenerative farming practices. “Don’t Buck Nature” is a witty but serious call to stop working against the systems that sustain us and start rebuilding our relationship with the land.
Healthy land is living land. When soil remains covered, roots stay active, crops and grazing are managed thoughtfully, and biological diversity is protected, farms can become more resilient while supporting cleaner water, healthier ecosystems, and future generations.
Reduce unnecessary disturbance, keep living roots in the ground, and protect the biology beneath our feet.
Use natural cycles, thoughtful grazing, plant diversity, and local knowledge to build long-term resilience.
Choose products and producers that value stewardship, regeneration, and responsible use of resources.
