This policy explains how the Ad Finem app ("Ad Finem," "the app," "we," "us") handles information. Ad Finem is a workout journal, and we built it to collect as little as possible.
Ad Finem does not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or contacts. We do not use advertising or ad trackers, we do not use third-party analytics, and we do not sell or share your personal information. Nothing in the app is used to track you across other apps or websites.
Your workout plans, sets, cardio, notes, and settings are stored locally on your device only. This information is not transmitted to us and is removed when you delete the app.
If you use Back Up, the app creates a file and hands it to your device's share sheet. You choose where it goes, such as iCloud Drive or Google Drive. That file is stored by the service you choose, under that service's privacy policy. We never receive a copy.
If you text a workout plan, the plan (its name, days, exercises, and warm-up note) is placed inside the link you send through Messages. The plan sits after the "#" in the link, which is never sent to our website, so we do not receive it. If you email your history, the app attaches a spreadsheet to an email that you address and send from your own Mail app. We never receive a copy of either.
If you buy Ad Finem Pro, the transaction is processed by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy policy. We never see your payment card or billing details. To confirm your purchase and restore it on your devices, we use RevenueCat, Inc. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-user identifier and the purchase data needed to verify Ad Finem Pro. This data is used only to provide the purchase (app functionality) and is not used to track you. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.
Ad Finem is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Deleting a workout plan in the app deletes its history. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your device. Backup files you saved elsewhere can be deleted from that service.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
